Calor village of the year competition

Do we as a community relish a challenge? Is Hallow thriving? Is our community open to new ideas? Does our village need a boost? If the answer is yes to any of these questions then our community should be contesting the county village of the year competition. Scenic beauty is not important, although we have plenty of it. What matters is care and achievement. The competitive experience is a great way of bringing our community together.

We have just received the results for Worcestershire and although we have not won we were chosen as runner-up in the Building Community Life category. We were highly commended for "having such a lot of good ideas for getting the community together for everyone's benefit". Considering that we have been functioning for less than a year this has been a great joint effort and the judges are looking forward to visiting us again next year to see how things are developing.
